Why?
Why keep revisiting what has been a torturous comeback trail in the same manner where in the past, injuries played a significant part in removing the luster of this onetime pitching star?
Why not come to terms that the last major-league start you made occurred August 10, 2006, take comfort in knowing you gave it your best shot and realize that at age 31, you still have an entire life ahead of you?

Tolman spikers begin defense of Div. II title

PAWTUCKET -- Last spring, Tolman High finished the season as it hoped it would — as Rhode Island Division II champions.
It nevertheless wasn’t easy, as it had to manufacture come-from-behind victories over Pilgrim in a quarterfinal, Cranston West in a semifinal and finally Barrington, 3-1, in the championship match.

Arts and crafts festival Saturday at the Monastery

CUMBERLAND — The town's Monastery property will be on display with all its history when the sixth Annual Cumberland Arts and Crafts Festival is held there this weekend. More than 50 artists and crafters will be setting up booths near the Cumberland Senior Center building at the Monastery on Saturday for what organizers are hoping will be a nice day outdoors for the festival's visitors.
Lee Drury, Senior Center Director, said the festival is something the event's sponsors have been trying to grow each year as a rival to other popular arts and crafts events later in the season.
