PAWTUCKET â A Superior Court jury has convicted a local man in the attempted murder of his girlfriend.
Erwin âEarlâ Grantley, 45, was found guilty of domestic assault with a dangerous weapon in a dwelling with intent to murder and domestic breaking and entering.
The jury returned the verdict on Thursday after two full days of deliberations. The trial before Superior Court Associate Justice Susan E. McGuirl had lasted six days.
