PAWTUCKET - James "Jim" F. Allen, Jr., 87, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann H. (Rowse) Allen.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late James F., Sr. and Alice (White) Allen. Mr. Allen was the proprietor of Allen's Uniforms Ltd. and was an avid figure skater.
He leaves two daughters, Jo Ann Allen of St. Petersburg, FL, Janet A. Courtois of North Attleboro; a son, James Allen, III of Pawtucket and three grandchildren, Alyssa Allen, David and Michael Courtois.
PAWTUCKET â€” The 37-year-old man shot to death by Pawtucket Police on Wednesday night had been wanted by the Massachusetts State Police for an armed assault.
The suspect has been identified as Jamie Coyle, who has addresses in both Pawtucket and Attleboro, Pawtucket Police said.
