Rhea J. Sylvestre-Lee
CENTRAL FALLS- Mrs. Sylvestre-Lee was the sister of the late Robert, Harvey, Leo and Edmond Boucher and the late Irene Hoyle, Anita Lamarre, Florence Hey and Theresa Blanchette.
CUMBERLAND- Ann (Chodorowski) Winiarski,96, formerly of Mendon Road, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the Emerald Bay Manor, Cumberland surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late John Winiarski.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Constantine and Margaret (Lapiniak) Chodorowski.
She resided in Cumberland for the past 58 years, previously residing in Woonocket.
Debra A. Costa
PAWTUCKET- Debra A. Costa, 53, passed April 10, 2012. She was the wife of Perdo A. Costa. They have been married for 17 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of Candelaria A. (Almarez) Beaton of Pawtucket.
She had been employed as a CNA for 20 years.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three sisters and two brothers.
PAWTUCKET â Tuesday morning saw a small group of PawSox players huddle around the clubhouse television as a contrite Ozzie Guillen attempted to move past the uproar he caused over supportive remarks the Miami Marlins manager made in reference to Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
Among those who sat and watched Guillen with great interest were Jose Iglesias and Luis Exposito. In fact, the pair stood side-by-side for roughly 10 minutes before Iglesias plopped himself down into a leather chair, his eyes clearly fixated on what Guillen was saying.
PAWTUCKET â Thanks to a pitching tip Ross Ohlendorf picked up from Josh Beckett, the Red Sox may very well have another starting option on their hands.

PROVIDENCE- Andrew W. McFarlane, 67, passed unexpectedly April 8th at the Miriam Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was born in New London, CT, a son of the late Hubert McFarlane and Isabelle (LaCharite) McFarlane.

CENTAL FALLS- Rhea J. Sylvestre-Lee, 91, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Donat O. Sylvestre and the late Roland J. Lee.
Mrs. Sylvestre-Lee was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Frederick and Rosealba (Lamontagne) Boucher. She was a lifelong Blackstone Valley resident.
Francelina Lopes Correia
PROVIDENCE- Correia, Francelina L., age 87, of Albert Avenue, died April 9, 2012 at Evergreen House Health Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Jose D. Correia.
Born in Povolide, Viseu, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Antonio L. and Leopoldina (de Jesus) dos Santos. She resided in Pawtucket before moving to Rumford 12 years ago.
Dorothy M. Wells
CUMBERLAND- Dorothy M. (Polsey) Wells, 96, of Meadowcrest Drive died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Trinity Health & Rehabilitation Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late William A. Wells, Jr.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Sylvanus E. and Asenath (Wright) Polsey, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life before moving to Cumberland 12 years ago.
She was a 1933 graduate of Pawtucket High School and was active in several sports. She served on the Class Reunion Committee for many years. She also attended classes at Brown University.
Michelle P. Prew
SOUTH ATTLEBORO: Michelle P. Prew, "Missy" 35, passed on April 7th 2012.
Born in Attleboro, a beloved daughter of Paul and Georgette (Guilbert) Prew of South Attleboro.
Missy was a 1995 graduate of Attleboro High School, an avid softball and soccer player and played softball in the Junior Olympics. She received a Bachelors of Science from the University of MA, Amherst.
Lillian J. Lavallee
PAWTUCKET: Lillian J. Lavallee,"Lil" 67, passed unexpectedly Easter morning at home. She is survived by four sons, Henry J, Daniel Scott, Philip Justin and David Arthur Lavallee, three daughters, Janet Yeadon, Rebecca M. and Amanda Lynn Lavallee, 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Juliette Dumaine, 97, passed away in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Sunday, April 8, 2012. She was the wife of the late Edward Dumaine who predeceased her in 2008. Juliette was born in Quebec, Canada and was the devoted daughter of Alphonse & Alma Roy.
She and her identical twin Jeannette were the youngest of thirteen children. She most enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters and their families as well as the family of her late husband Edward.
PAWTUCKET- Alice Jabbour, passed away Sunday, April 08, 2012. She was the wife of the late Joseph Jabbour.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Faris and Nazera (Ganem) Solomon.
Mrs. Jabbour owned and operated the former Jabbour Electronics with her late husband Joseph for many years until her retirement in 2007. She was a member of the Ladies Sodality, Saint Basil The Great Church.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Paiva, and two grandchildren. She was one of six children.
Phyllis L. Farmer
LINCOLN- Phyllis L. Farmer (Fober) 79, passed away peacefully Thursday April 5, 2012 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was the loving mother of Dorene A. Buco and her husband Vincent of Rehoboth, Gary L. Farmer of Lincoln and Holly Sarza of Burrillville, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was the former wife of the late Cecil A. "Bud" Farmer.
Louis Del Papa
PAWTUCKET- Louis Del Papa of Pawtucket and Prudence Island died Saturday, April 7, 2012. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Magill) Del Papa.
Mr. Del Papa was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Louis and Margaret (Moore) Del Papa.
Lou was a member of many professional organizations, locally, regionally, and nationally. He retired as the Director of Teacher Preparation, Certification, and Professional Development for the State of Rhode Island.
PAWTUCKET â Finally, thereâs some good news concerning Andrew Miller.
Barring any setbacks, the hurler expects to take the next step in his rehab and join the Pawtucket Red Sox at some point on the teamâs upcoming nine-game road trip. Miller made his second of two appearances with Single-A Greenville Monday, seeking to build off of Saturdayâs one-inning stint that featured no runs on two hits. He did just that, retiring all three batters he faced on two groundball outs and one strikeout.
âI felt healthy and thatâs all I can ask for,â said Miller when reached Monday afternoon.
