On the evening of Thursday, Oct. 18, Glenn Ginish, Jr., a performance analyst for a renowned bank in Boston, was taking the â€śTâ€ť home to Jamaica Plains when he figured he'd call his kid sister, Laura, back at her mom's apartment on Mendon Road.
He did so just so the two could catch up with each other's lives.
Mary Elizabeth Martin
CUMBERLAND - Mary Elizabeth (Lobo) Martin, 84, of Cumberland, died suddenly on Friday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Jerome Martin. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Furtado) Lobo.
Mary was employed as a textile worker for Pontiac Weaving until her retirement. She was a very talented sewer and knitter who made all of her family's clothing including her daughter's wedding gown and many suits for her husband.
Regina M. Hutton
SOUTH KINGSTOWN - Regina "Reggie" M. (Hilliard) Hutton, 81, of South Kingstown, formerly of Evergreen St., Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward "Teddy" W. Hutton.
Born in Claremont, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Harry H. and Irene S. (Simmons) Hilliard, she resided in Pawtucket for many years before moving to South Kingstown in 2007.
CUMERLAND - Helen (Donaghey) Egan, 94, of Old Angell Road died Friday, October 26, 2012 at home. She was the wife of the late James R. Egan, Sr.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late James J. and Agnes (Parks) Donaghey, she had lived in Cumberland for the past 62 years.
Mrs. Egan was a timekeeper for Fram Corporation for many years before retiring in 1978.
She was a communicant of Historic St. Joseph's Church, Cumberland.
CUMBERLAND - Mary (Matteo) Cyr, 91, of Scott Road, passed away Monday, October 29, in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Rosario (Leo) Cyr.
Born in Ashton, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Mariangela (Sylvestre) Matteo. She was a life-long resident of Cumberland.
Mrs. Cyr was employed by the HASBRO, Inc. of Pawtucket for many years until her retirement.
Milton E. Noble
PAWTUCKET - Milton E. Noble, age 90, Registrar Emeritus of Brown University and a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, died Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home, East Providence.
Edward M. Gorman
LINCOLN - Edward M. "Eddie" Gorman, 77, of Lincoln, died Monday at Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Marie T. (Burns) Gorman. Born in Manhattan, New York, he was the son of the late Edward M. and Mary (Nield) Gorman.
Mr. Gorman was a retired Detective Commander for the Lincoln Police Department. Following his retirement from the police force he worked as a court officer for the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He was a Korean Army veteran, a member of the Lincoln FOPA and the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick.
