PAWTUCKET â€” Four women were arrested for prostitution and two men with solicitation on Thursday night following an investigation by Pawtucket Police of complaints of suspicious activity in the Barton Street area.

Joseph D. Azar
LINCOLN - Joseph D. Azar, 84, passed away peacefully on October 16th surrounded by his loving family. Joe, the devoted husband of Alice (Hallal) Azar for 55 years. Born in Central Falls, the son of the late John and Nasema (Alam) Azar. Joe, the loving father to Joseph Azar, Jr. of Lincoln and to Valerie Dunn and her husband Thomas of Saunderstown. Granddaughters Brittany Dunn and Victoria Azar will forever cherish their Giddo.
Russell J. Sweeney
PAWTUCKET - Russell J. Sweeney, 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 18, 2012.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Albert T., Sr. and Edith M. (Noones) Sweeney. Russell was a US Army Korean War Veteran, having served with the 21st Field Artillery Battalion. He worked for Pawtucket Dye & Bleach and Microfibers, Inc. as a dye chemist until his retirement.
PAWTUCKET - Roland Riendeau, 69, passed unexpectedly October 17th. He was the husband of Micheline (Berger) Riendeau; they celebrated their 50th anniversary in May.
He was a son of the late Arthur and Aurore (Lauzon) Riendeau. He lived most of his life in Pawtucket. He had been employed as a foreman by Nissen Bakery of Central Falls for 32 years, retiring upon their closure. Roland was a dedicated volunteer at Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket for the past ten years. He loved spending time with his family.
