Roland J. Allard
PAWTUCKET - Roland J. Allard, 80, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011. He was the beloved husband of the late Irene M. (Kelly) Allard.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Roland J., Sr. and Callie (Donaldson) Allard. Roland was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran. He was a driver for Bachman Foods, Lincoln for thirty years until retiring in 1991. Roland was a member of St. Teresa's Seniors and a life member of the Dusza-Almeida VFW Post No. 2339, Pawtucket.

LINCOLN - Michelle Kilsey, 59 of Lincoln, entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2011 after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.
Michelle graduated with highest honors from Notre Dame High School in 1969. She was employed by Corning Glass Works and American Cord and Webbing as a secretary before joining her husband in the video rental business in 1983.

CUMBERLAND - Albert E. Jannarelli, 94, of Rosemont Avenue, passed away Sunday in the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Louise (Wojtkun) Jannarelli.
Born in Lincoln, he was the son of the late Domenico and Clara (Brown) Jannarelli. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life.
Mr. Jannarelli was most recently employed by the National Tire Retread Association of Washington, DC from which he retired. He was previously employed by Owens Corning Fiberglass for 33 years.

New London too much for St. Raphael hoopsters in non-leaguer

NEW LONDON, Conn. — St. Raphael fell victim to a talented New London squad Monday night, 100-73. The Saints fell behind 12-0 and were unable to recover on their way to trailing 54-22 at halftime.
Charles Correa led SRA (8-4 overall, 6-2 Division I-East0 with 17 points while Cesar Mejia chipped in with 11. Trevor Vasey finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds.
SRA returns to in-state competition tonight when it welcomes Woonsocket.

PROVIDENCE — Freddy Gobewole has had problems with his shoulder since his junior campaign last year when he tore his rotator cuff during a scrimmage game for the Shea High football team.
But that hasn’t stopped the talented senior from tearing up the track with his unmatched speed.
