PAWTUCKET â€” Call them â€śMr. and Mrs. Pawtucketâ€ť now. Herb Weiss, the city's Economic and Cultural Affairs Officer, recently tied the knot with his longtime partner, Patty Zacks, owner of The Camera Werks on Hope Street.

PAWTUCKET â€” Two former School Committee chairmen, who were elected back to the committee in November, have been chosen by their fellow board members to assume leadership roles once again.
By unanimous vote Tuesday night, the newly installed School Committee named Raymond Spooner as chairman and Alan Tenreiro as deputy chairman. The board also chose to retain school secretary Diana Liss, who is Spoonerâ€™s sister, as its clerk.
Normand L. Boucher
Normand L. Boucher, 71 of Johnston, died Saturday.
He was the husband of the late Irene (Neveu) Boucher. They had been married 45 years. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Alfred Boucher.
He served in the US Marine Corps from 1957-1962. Normand worked for Lebanon Knitting Mills for 15 yrs., Worcester Textile for 23 yrs. and Benny's Warehouse for 10 plus yrs.
CUMBERLAND - Yvonne Smith, 68, of Dexter Street, passed away Tuesday, January 11, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward J. Smith.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Estelle (Ouellette) Plante. She was a life-long resident of Cumberland.
Mrs. Smith was employed as an accounts payable clerk for Teknor Apex for many years, and was the owner of the former Smitty's Restaurant which was situated on Broad Street in Cumberland.
Margaret M. Sidla
CUMBERLAND - Margaret M. (Mooney) Sidla, 84, passed away Tuesday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Anthony Sidla.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Theilig) Mooney. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.
She was employed as a secretary for Ann & Hope for over 20 years.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church.
